Welcome to Elgol and our Village Hall Site
Our Village Hall is run by the small community of Elgol and Glasnakille and relies of fundraising and donations. We hope youare able to enjoy the village and the wonderful aspect of the Cuillin moutains and find time to visit the local attractions shops, cafes and even partake in a Ceilidh in the Hall. Please make use of our facilities, new toilet block and help us keep the hall going by making a donation for parking in our carpark.

Hike, climb, enjoy the magnificent nature! Take the world famous boat trips.
Elgol is the world famous stopping point for to depart to the Cuillin ridge and Loch Courisk. Boat trips have been running since the 18th century and walkers and tourists often rate a trip as a holiday highlight.
The village hall relies of the local community organised fund raising events and from the fees we charge hall hire etc.
